*The information featured on this page does not take the place of a doctor, but rather serves as a starting point for patients or caregivers to learn more about cancer. Use the information you find to discuss further with your doctor.
Access to cancer information has never been so easy as it is today.
A simple search of the term “cancer” can bring up to 1,000,000,000 results in the span of less than a second. With so many sources out on the worldwide web, it can be overwhelming and difficult to know where to even start.
At the Sino-American Cancer Foundation, our goal is to provide any person quick and easy access to reliable and accurate information. Listed below are various resources for patients, caregivers, and anyone wanting to learn more about cancer and how it is treated*.
Over the past six years, the Sino-American Cancer Foundation’s (SACF) Summer Research Program has provided students with hands-on experience to learn, study, and participate in a real-world lab environment alongside industry scientists. As part of our goal to cultivate a new generation of biomedical researchers, this program provides a unique learning experience for students to learn about science through experience and research rather than the textbook.
This program was created to help cultivate any motivated high school or undergraduate college student interested in biomedical research as a potential college major or future career path. Participating students will be partnered with an SACF scientist for six weeks, learning and working in multiple research disciplines.
